Description

Gage Farmhouse is a mid-18th century building that has been altered over time. It is constructed from coursed ironstone rubble and features a slate roof with brick ridge and end stacks. The farmhouse has a long rectangular shape, consisting of two 2-unit plans, and stands two storeys high with a total of four windows. There are two entrances, each with a four-panelled door and wood lintels. The ground floor includes three 3-light casement windows in wood frames, also with wood lintels, while the first floor has four similar windows. The windows are fitted with lead canes and wrought-iron casement fasteners. The building was once known as Grange Farmhouse. The interior has not been inspected.
