Description
Hill Farmhouse is a mid-18th century farmhouse that was altered in the late 19th century. It is built of coursed squared ironstone with a straw thatch roof and features red brick end stacks. The building has a two-unit plan, is two storeys high with an attic, and has a three-window range. The central entrance consists of a six-panel part-glazed door with an overlight, set within a 20th-century stone porch. The ground and first floors have two-light casement windows with stone lintels and key-blocks. The farmhouse also has quoins and stone-coped gables with kneelers. To the right, there is a one-storey and attic extension dating from around 1900, which has a slate roof and a dormer window. The interior has not been inspected.
