Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century, with alterations and additions from the 18th and 19th centuries. It has a long rectangular shape facing the road, with a wing extending to the rear on the right. The front range is constructed of finely jointed squared, coursed ironstone and features a slate roof with stone coped gables. There are blue brick ridge and end stacks. The building is arranged in four units over two storeys, with a total of four windows across the front.
On the left side, there is a carriage entrance with an arched keyblock head and wooden doors. The ground floor includes three- and four-light casement windows, which have either wooden or stone lintels. The first floor features four two-light casements with wooden lintels, and there is a small blocked window at the left end. At the rear, there are two entrances with six-panelled doors and wooden lintels. The wing has a four-light stone mullioned window with a hood mould and label stops on the ground floor, and a similar three-light window on the first floor, with metal casements. The interior has not been inspected.
