Description
Jasmine Cottage is a house dating from the early 18th century, built from coursed ironstone rubble. It features a steeply pitched roof made of corrugated iron and has brick stacks at each end. The cottage has a two-unit plan with an extension at the rear and stands two storeys high with a two-window range. The entrance, located on the right, includes a six-panelled door with a moulded wood surround and a hood. To the left of the entrance, there is a three-light casement window set in a moulded wood frame with a wooden lintel above. On the first floor, there are two three-light metal casements in wooden frames, both with hood lintels and wrought-iron casement fasteners. The right end of the building features a fixed light window with a wooden lintel and a large semi-circular projection for a bread oven, which also has a corrugated-iron roof. There is a single-storey extension at the rear, also with a corrugated-iron roof, that has a blocked entrance with a wooden lintel. The interior has not been inspected.
