Description
Holly Tree Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the mid-18th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed from squared coursed ironstone and features a steeply pitched slate roof with renewed brick stacks at either end. The building has a two-unit plan and a lower extension on the left side, standing two storeys high with a three-window range. The main entrance is approximately central and has a 20th-century door and lintel. Flanking the entrance are a three-light metal casement window with a wooden lintel and a bay window topped with a hipped slate roof. On the first floor, there are two three-light and one two-light metal casement windows, all with wooden lintels and wrought-iron casement fasteners. The farmhouse has ironstone quoins, and the two-storey extension on the left side does not have any windows facing the road. The interior has not been inspected.
