Description

The Methodist Chapel, dating from around 1800, is constructed of squared coursed ironstone and features a steeply pitched 20th-century tiled roof that is hipped at the rear. It has a stone lateral stack and is a single-storey building. The central entrance consists of a two-leaved door set beneath a four-centred arched head. Flanking the entrance are two Gothic-style windows, each with two lights, Y-tracery, and diamond leaded lattices. On the right side of the chapel, there are two three-light casement windows, also featuring wood lintels and similar diamond leaded lattices. At the rear, there are two windows that resemble those at the front but have square leaded panes and brick heads. The Chapel House adjoins to the left, and the building is included for its group value.
