Description
Drybank Farmhouse is a mid-18th century farmhouse constructed from regular coursed ironstone rubble, featuring ironstone quoins. It has steeply pitched roofs, a combination of slate and thatch, with brick stacks at the ridge and ends. The left side of the building includes a single-storey section with a three-light wood-mullioned window that has lead cames. The main farmhouse is designed in a T-plan, standing two storeys plus an attic with a three-window range. On the ground floor, there are three three-light wood-mullioned windows with lead cames and wood lintels, along with a canted bay window on the left. The first floor mirrors the ground floor with three three-light wood-mullioned windows featuring lead cames and wood lintels. Most windows are fitted with wrought-iron casement fasteners. To the right of the farmhouse, a barn has been converted into a living room. The rear of the building has plank doors with wood lintels. Inside, there are chamfered beams.
