Farmhouse. Datestones 1688 and T/M/I 1698. Brick with ironstone quoins and window and door dressings. Flemish bond with vitrified headers. Steeply pitched slate roof to front and red tile roof to rear. Stone coped gables surmounted by ball finials. Brick ridge stacks. Moulded kneelers. Ironstone plinth. 3-unit plan. 2 storeys plus attic; 5-window range. Central entrance has wide C20 door partly glazed, with margin lights. Ironstone hood mould and label stops. Doorway is flanked by pairs of 2-light stone-mullioned windows of simple splay section with hood mould and label stops. 5 similar windows to first floor. All windows have lead cames. Most have wrought-iron casement fasteners. Rear has raking roofed outshuts and a 2-storey rear wing. Main front has a 2-storey extension to left with brick end stack and extension stairs to loft. Renewed brickwork. Interior: noted as having a C17 dog-leg staircase.
