Description
Nineveh Farmhouse is a late 17th-century farmhouse constructed from coursed squared blocks of ironstone, with regular coursed limestone on the ends and rear. It features a steeply pitched red tile roof and has brick stacks at both ends and laterally. The building has two storeys plus an attic and a four-window range arranged in a three-unit plan. The entrance, located to the right, is enclosed by a 20th-century porch. To the left, there is a 20th-century three-light casement window and a two-light casement window. A 20th-century window is situated to the right. On the first floor, there are two three-light and two two-light 20th-century casements, all with wood lintels. The gabled roof includes dormer windows.
Inside, there is a two-light stone-mullioned window of ovolo section located in the 20th-century rear porch. The interior features stop-chamfered beams and joists, a wide inglenook with a bressumer, and the upper part of a wood winder staircase leading from the first floor to the attic. The attic contains a wide plank door with wrought-iron strap hinges and a queen post roof truss.
