Description
64 and 64A Park Road is a pair of houses from the 18th century that were altered in the mid-19th century. They are built of painted brick in an irregular bond and feature a plain tiled roof. The buildings are two storeys high, with an attic and basement. The roof has a moulded eaves cornice, two bargeboarded dormers, and a panelled stack positioned to the centre right. On the first floor, there is a segmentally headed sash window and a blank window space, while the ground floor has a segmentally headed sash window to the left and a two-storey canted bay to the centre right. To the left, there is a part-glazed six-panelled door, and to the right, a half-glazed door. The internal structure indicates that this building is an early addition to No. 66, and the entire block has been treated with similar details, particularly the roof, in the 19th century.
