Description

Nos. 54 and 56 on Park Road in Ramsgate are a house row and shop built in the 18th century. The buildings are constructed of red brick, with some areas rendered, and feature a plain tiled roof. Both properties are two storeys high with an attic, and they have two gabled dormers and a stack at the rear right. On the first floor, there are two glazing bar sash windows, while the ground floor has two more sash windows and a half-glazed door to the right, which is sheltered by a tiled arcaded roof. To the right, there are double garage doors. No. 58, which is slightly younger, is rendered and also two storeys tall, featuring a kneelered parapet gable and a stack to the right. It has a cross window on the first floor and a plate glass shop front on the ground floor, which returns to the right side elevation.
