Description

Rochester Lodge is an early 19th-century house located on Ramsgate High Street. The building is constructed of painted brick with a slate roof. It is two storeys high with a basement, and features projecting quoins and central pilaster strips. The roof is hipped, with a central stack, and has overhanging eaves. There are two glazing bar sashes with louvred shutters on each floor, and two sashes to the basement. Sweeping quadrant brick walls extend to the left and right of the building. The left quadrant wall contains a boarded door leading to a porch, while the right quadrant wall has a boarded door providing access to a passageway.
