Description

The Cottage is a house that has been converted into a pair of houses, dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of red brick, with flint on the side elevations, and features a tiled roof. The building is two storeys high, with a garret above a flint plinth, and has a half-hipped roof with a stack at the left end. There are two glazing bar sash windows on each floor, and a central 20th-century panelled door set in a moulded surround with a cornice, with all the heads rendered. On the right side, facing the road, there is a boarded door and wooden casements. The rear of the building has irregular additions, partly weatherboarded and made of mixed brick and flint.
