Description

No. 142 Grange Road is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of stock brick, with some parts rendered, and features a slate roof. The building has three storeys and a basement, with a rusticated ground floor, a cill band, and a parapet at the roof, which has a stack positioned to the right. On the second and first floors, there are two glazing bar sashes, while the ground floor has a large glazing bar sash and a 20th-century multi-panelled door to the left, which is topped by a semi-circular fanlight. There is also a glazing bar sash window in the basement.
