Description

Nos. 2 and 4 Ashburnham Road are a pair of cottages built in the 1840s. They are constructed from stock brick and feature a tiled roof. The cottages are two storeys high with a hipped roof and a central chimney stack. Each cottage has a regular arrangement of windows, with two glazing bar sash windows on each floor. The ground floor windows have painted heads and shutters. To the left, there is a two-panel door, and to the right, a half-glazed door. There are name plaques in the centre, but they are painted over and illegible. These cottages are included for their group value.
