Description

The walls and gateways surrounding Nos. 136A and B on Grange Road are early 19th century structures. They are made of flint on a rendered base with brick coping, standing approximately 6 feet high and rising to about 8 feet at the north-west corner. These walls form a circuit around the grounds of 136A and B. There are two gateways: a smaller one in the east wall featuring coping on the piers and a two-level railed gate with a sun-ray spiked overthrow. The main gate is located at the north-east corner, with piers that have cornices, but this gateway does not have an overthrow.
