Description

The gateway on the boundary wall of No. 73 is a mid-18th century structure. It is made of limestone ashlar, with early 19th century rat-trap bond brick at the rear. The gateway features rusticated gatepiers, each topped with a moulded cornice and a ball finial. It has double-leaf wrought-iron gates that are adorned with a finely crafted scrolled wrought-iron overthrow. This gateway is included for its group value.
