Description

This is a two-storey house located on the north-east side of Mill Street, Kidlington. It dates to 1728, as indicated by a datestone. The house is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with a gabled Welsh slate roof and a right-end stack finished in brick. It follows a two-unit plan and has a symmetrical two-window facade. The windows have timber lintels, including an 18th-century cross window to the right. Inside, the house features stop-chamfered beam with run-out stops. The room to the right contains an 18th-century corner cupboard and plank dado with a moulded chair rail, while the left-hand side has winder stairs with turned balusters and an 18th-century panelled cupboard door. A panelled partition is present on the first floor.
