Description
No. 17 Church Street is a farmhouse, now a house, with early 19th-century features and 18th-century origins on the right side. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and has a hipped Welsh slate roof with brick lateral stacks at the rear. The building has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys tall with a four-window range. There are keyed stone lintels above a 20th-century door with an overlight, located to the left of the centre, and six-pane sash windows. At the rear, there are early and late 19th-century gabled wings, along with a 20th-century one-storey extension to the right. The interior includes stone flag floors, panelled doors and shutters, and a plain fireplace on the left.
