Description
This attached outbuilding is part of a farmhouse, originally built in the 17th century and later remodeled in the early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble and features a gabled concrete tile roof, with stone slates on the rear. The building has brick ridge and end stacks and follows a double-depth plan. It stands two storeys high and has a symmetrical three-window range. The front includes a door with six panels, two of which are glazed, dating from the early 19th century, along with late 19th and early 20th century two- and three-light casement windows. The outbuilding to the right is made from similar materials and has a stop-chamfered timber lintel over 19th-century plank doors, as well as timber lintels over two- and three-light casements. It also features a first-floor 19th-century plank granary door, with steps leading to the granary door at the rear. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
