Farmhouse, now house. Late C17, with earlier late C17 wing to rear. Coursed limestone rubble; gabled concrete tile roof; end stacks of stone finished in brick; similar ridge stack to rear. L-plan with rear right wing. 2 storeys; 4-window range. Flat stone arches over late C18/early C19 six-pane sashes; two-storey square window to left with plate-glass sashes. C20 dormers. Rear wing: stair-turret and C18 one-storey service range with hipped roof to right; 4-window range to left has flat stone arches over blocked windows and three 6-pane sashes, and C20 door. Interior: central stair-hall has fine late C17 dog-leg with landing staircase with barley-twist balusters, and late C17 bolection-panelled doors. Fine late C17 bolection-panelled room to left. First floor has C18 panelled room to left. First floor has C18 panelled doors and boxed beams. Rear wing has boxed beams, early C19 fireplace with paterae on ground floor and winder stairs with late C17 simple turned balusters. Attic has late C17 butt-purlin roofs. Subsidiary features: C18 wall to front right, of limestone rubble with stone slate coping, projects approximately 14 metres to front.
