Description
The listed building comprises two cottages located at 86 and 88 Church Street, Kidlington. Dating from the early to mid-18th century, they are constructed of coursed limestone rubble with a gabled thatched roof and brick end stacks. The cottages have a two-unit plan and two storeys with an attic. The garden front features a two-window arrangement. Early 20th-century casement windows with glazing bars are set beneath timber lintels; a gabled dormer is also present. A 20th-century door is located at the rear. A 20th-century extension to the left has a 20th-century door to the rear. The interior remains uninspected. The cottages are included in the listing primarily for their group value.
