Description

Two cottages located at 9 and 10 High Cogges, dating from the late 17th century. They are constructed of coursed limestone rubble and feature a gabled thatch roof, with brick end stacks that were rebuilt in the 20th century. The cottages have a three-unit plan and are one storey with an attic, presenting a three-window range. Timber lintels are found over late 19th century three-light casements that flank a plank door and a 20th century door with a porch. There are also late 19th century three-light dormer casements. The sides have 20th century weatherboarded outshuts. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
