Description

The Cottage is a house dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a gabled thatch roof with a brick stack at one end. The building has a two-unit plan and is one storey high with an attic, presenting a three-window range. There are timber lintels above a 20th-century window that has been inserted into the doorway, along with late 19th and 20th-century two-light casements. A dormer window also contains a late 19th-century two-light casement. There is a 20th-century entry at the rear. The interior and rear of the property have not been inspected but are likely to be of interest.
