Description
Ladymead Cottage is a house dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a gabled thatch roof with brick end stacks. The building has a two-unit plan and is one storey high with an attic, presenting a two-window range. Notable features include carved brackets supporting a flat hood over a central 20th-century door, as well as timber lintels above 20th-century two-light windows. There are also 20th-century half-dormer casements. At the rear, there is a 20th-century thatched extension. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
