Description
No. 115 High Street is a farmhouse that has been converted into a house, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is built from coursed limestone rubble, with the front and right sides rendered. The roof is gabled, featuring stone slate on the main section and Welsh slate on the rear left wing. There are brick stacks at the ridge and ends. The building has a U-shape with projecting wings at the rear and stands two storeys tall, with a four-window range.
To the right of the center, there is a 19th-century panelled door with a timber lintel. To the left of this door is a one-light window, while the rest of the ground floor has six-pane sash windows. The first floor features late 19th-century two-light casements. There is a 19th-century outshut flanked by the projecting wings; the left wing includes two-light casements, a plank loft door, and a plank door leading to an outhouse below. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
