Description

The Malt House is an early 19th century farmhouse, now a house. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with a gabled Welsh slate roof. The building has a three-unit plan and a three-window front. It has a stone hood and timber lintel over the glazed 20th-century front door. Above the door is a raised rendered architrave and a two-pane sash window. There are also six-pane sash windows on the first floor. A stone stack finished in brick is located at the left end of the building, and a brick stack is at the right end. The interior was not inspected but is likely to be of architectural interest.
