Description

Palmer’s Cottage and an attached cottage date from the late 18th or early 19th century. They are built of coursed limestone rubble with a gabled roof of artificial stone slates and stone end stacks. The buildings have a 4-unit plan and 2 storeys, with a 4-window front. A timber lintel sits above a 19th-century plank door on the right-hand side, and a 20th-century plank door is positioned to the left of the centre. There are timber lintels above 2-light casement windows with glazing bars. A one-storey extension has been added to the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
