Description

Briar Cottage is a house dating from the late 17th or early 18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with a gabled concrete tile roof and a stone ridge stack on the left-hand side. The house follows a 3-unit plan, and has one storey with an attic, featuring a 4-window front. Flat stone arches are above the 20th-century door and windows, with a timber lintel above a 20th-century window to the left. There are three gabled dormers. The interior contains chamfered beams.
