Description
St. Lawrence House is a late 18th-century house located on Grange Road in Ramsgate. It is constructed of painted brick and features a slate roof. The building stands three storeys high and has a parapet with chimney stacks on both the left and right sides. The windows are arranged asymmetrically, with three glazing bar sashes on the second and first floors, and two on the ground floor. All windows have gauged red brick heads. The central entrance features a panelled door with a semi-circular fanlight that has a keyed surround and a swagged open pediment supported by pilasters. There is also an additional wooden casement window to the left. The rear of the house has irregular fenestration, including a long stair window. Inside, the open string staircase is adorned with simple unturned balusters.
