Description

Nos. 25 and 27 on North Street are former houses that have been altered to include a shop on the right. They date from the 18th century and feature a timber frame with weatherboarding and a red plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys and a central red brick chimney stack. The façade includes a two-window range of small paned vertically sliding sashes. The central entrance is a six-panel door flanked by pilasters with capitals and bases, and features a moulded and decorated frieze along with a moulded flat canopy above. To the right, the shop front has end pilasters and a fascia over the door and window, along with a tiled plinth.
