Description
Nos. 5 and 7 on Bridge Street is a pair of houses with a shop, dating from the 17th century and extended around 1800. The building is timber framed and tile hung, with a red brick underbuilding and an extension in painted brick. It features a plain tiled roof that steps down to the right, with a hipped and returned design. There are stacks located to the centre right and projecting at the end left. The structure has two storeys on a plinth, with three sash windows on the first floor and two on the ground floor, alongside a plate glass oriel-style shop front to the right. A panelled door is situated to the centre left, with a flat hood above it, and a half-glazed door is located at the end right. There is a shop window on the right return, while the rest of the windows are wooden casements, and there is a catslide outshot at the rear.
