Description
The Granary is a Grade II listed storage building that is part of a mill complex, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of red brick, some of which is painted, and features a plain tiled roof. The building has a two-storey section on the right, which is weatherboarded on the first floor and has a hipped roof. On the first floor, there is a glazing bar sash window, while the ground floor has sliding carriage doors. A loft door is located on the left side, and there is a glazed barred light at the rear. To the right, there is a single-storey hipped range that includes two wooden casement windows and a half-door. This building may have formerly served as a carthouse and stable for the adjacent mill complex. It is included in the listing for its group value with other structures in the area.
