Description
No. 87 is a house that dates from the 16th century but has been clad in the 17th century. It features a timber frame covered with red brick in an irregular English bond, with tile hanging on the right side and a plain tiled roof. The building stands two storeys high on a ragstone plinth, with a hipped roof that has a gablet on the right and a stack at the rear. There are three wooden casement windows under the eaves, along with a large 20th-century casement window on the ground floor. The first floor has blocked openings, especially a central one on the left. A multi-panelled door is located to the left, topped with a flat hood and accessed by four steps. The brickwork has been significantly rebuilt over time.
