Description

This is a house dating from the 17th and 18th centuries, situated on the south side of Bridge Street. The main block is constructed of red brick in English bond, with some painted brick, and has a plain tiled roof. It is two storeys high with a basement, featuring a plinth and a moulded wooden eaves cornice to the hipped roof, which has a stack to the rear centre. A sash window with glazing bars is present on the first floor to the right, and a round-headed blank panel with corbels and a projecting keystone is positioned alongside. A canted bay with a tented roof extends to the right on the ground floor. A half-glazed door is located to the left, accompanied by a chinoiserie traceried rectangular fanlight, a cornice, and a flight of five steps leading up to the door, supported by simple iron rails. The left return showcases three glazing bar sashes on the first floor, two on the ground floor, and a central panelled door.
