Description

Nos. 111, 113, and 115 Bridge Street is a house, formerly a row of houses, dating from the 15th to the 18th century. The building features timber framing, with some parts exposed and restored, and roughcast infill. It is also clad and extended with red and painted brick and tile hanging. The roof is plain tiled, hipped, and stepped up to a returned hip on the right side, with chimney stacks located at the rear left, center, and projecting at the end right.

The left block of the building is symmetrical, with three glazing bar sash windows on the first floor and two on the ground floor, along with a central half-glazed door. This door is topped by a traceried semi-circular fanlight and an open pediment supported by pilasters with entablature blocks. There are three steps leading up to the entrance, which are flanked by scrolled iron railings. The basement has an opening in the center.

To the right, there is a block with two glazing bar sash windows on the first floor and one on the ground floor, accompanied by a glazed door to the left, which has a semi-circular fanlight and a pediment hood, along with three steps leading up to it. The right return of the building shows exposed framing, indicating a jetty. At the rear, there is a wing with a glazed door and glazing bar sash windows extending down the plot. There is a 20th-century outshot to the left.
