Description
Nos. 1, 2, and 3 Church Walk is a house that has been divided, originally built in the 16th century and restored in the 20th century. It features a timber frame set on a plinth of brick and rubblestone, with red brick infill and tile hanging on the left end. The roof is plain tiled, with a rebuilt ridge stack located to the left of center and a rendered rebuilt offset stack at the right end. The main front of the building is oriented at right angles to the street and consists of two storeys with an irregular arrangement of four casement windows on the first floor. There is a 20th-century glazed door in the center, sheltered by a half-glazed porch with a pent roof. The left-hand return front, which faces the street, has a tile-hung gable that jetties on the first floor, with exposed square panel framing below. A plank door is located in the center, and there is a pent roof extension to the left.
