Description

Numbers 4 and 5 Church Walk is a house that has been divided, originally built in the 16th century and extensively restored in the 1970s. It features a timber frame on a rubblestone plinth, with red brick cladding that includes blue headers. The roof is plain tiled, half hipped to the left and hipped to the right, with a ridge stack located to the right of the center. The building has two storeys, with a plat band over the ground floor and the left-hand bay set back slightly. There are four casement windows across the first floor. The entrance to No. 4 is a planked door located to the left, accessed by a flight of three brick steps, while there is another door to the right of center, which is reached by four steps. There is also a 20th-century extension at the rear.
