Description

The Surgery is a house that was part surgery at the time of listing, dating from the early 19th century, around 1810. It features a whitewashed rendered front with deep eaves and a slate roof that is hipped to the left. There is a rendered ridge stack to the left of the center and a brick stack at the left end. The building is two storeys high and has five glazing bar sash windows with moulded surrounds on the first floor. On the ground floor, there is a square bay window to the left and an oriel square bay window to the right. To the left, there are two double planked garage doors, and to the right, a part glazed panelled door set in a panelled reveal, which is topped by an Ionic portico supported by two wooden columns, featuring garlanded ovals in the frieze.
