Description

Melrose Cottage is a house from the 18th century that has undergone restoration in the 20th century. It features red brick on a rendered plinth and roughcast on the front. The roof is plain tiled with end ridge stacks. The building has two storeys and displays three restored glazing bar sash windows across the first floor, along with one glazing bar sash window located between the storeys at the left end. The central entrance consists of a four-panel door set in a moulded surround, topped by a transom light and sheltered by a flat porch hood.
