Description
Norfolk House, now divided into shops, is an 18th-century house with 19th-century extensions located on the north side of High Street in Bletchingley. The building is constructed of red brick on a rendered plinth, featuring moulded wood eaves and machine tiled parallel range roofs, with a ridge stack at the right end. It has two storeys, with end piers and a brick plat band above the ground floor. The first floor has four 19th-century sash windows with cambered heads, while the right side has plate glass windows beneath a pent roof. There is a partially panelled door to the left of centre, framed by an architrave surround and topped with an open gable pediment on brackets. To the right, there are glazed double doors. The rear includes Wealdstone extensions, and there is a brick warehouse attached at the extreme rear, which is not included in the listing.
