Description

Numbers 3 and 4 Milton Street is a 17th-century timber-framed farmhouse that has been converted into two dwellings. The ground floor has been refronted with red brick, while the upper part is tiled. The building features three gables and a stringcourse. It has a tiled roof and two tall brick chimney stacks positioned diagonally on a plinth at the east end, with a chimney breast at the west end. There are three casement windows; the ground floor windows have segmental arches above them, and the first-floor windows are adorned with diamond-shaped leaded panes. A photograph of the building is available in the National Monuments Record.
