Description
Honeysuckle Cottage is a house that dates from the 16th century or earlier, with cladding added in the 18th century. It has a timber frame covered with red brick and tile hanging, topped with a plain tiled roof. The building features a truncated Wealden plan and has a gable end facing the road. It stands two storeys high on a plinth, with a jetty to the left and overhanging eaves supported by a curved brace and brackets. The roof is hipped to the left with an outshot and half-hipped to the right, featuring a central stack. There are two wooden casements, and the entry is located in the gable end, which is boarded and has a rectangular fanlight above. A wooden casement is positioned over the entry, and there is a sash window on the ground floor. At the rear, there is a catslide outshot.
