Description

Rose Cottage is a pair of cottages dating to the 18th and 19th centuries. They are timber-framed with an ashlar lining and plaster. The roof is covered in red clay tiles, and there is a central chimney stack built of red brick. The cottages are two storeys high and have a two-window arrangement, featuring small, vertically sliding sash windows with moulded surrounds. The doors are vertically boarded, each with a Gothic-style head within a moulded, square-headed surround; they have shaped and moulded friezes and flat canopies.
