Description

No. 36 North Street is a cottage from the 18th century that has undergone later alterations. It features a timber frame and is weatherboarded, topped with a red plain tiled roof that has an outshot at the rear. There is a rear chimney stack. The building is two storeys high with attics on the left side and a single storey on the right. It has small paned vertically sliding sash windows arranged in a 1:1 pattern. To the right of the main range, there is a six-panelled door with a moulded surround, frieze, and a moulded flat canopy. Additionally, there is a garage door to the right of the single storey range.
