Description
Nos. 31-35 on Elm Hill are two houses that have been converted into a shop. The facade dates from the 18th century, although there have been alterations to the ground floor made in the 20th century. The building features a timber frame, with a brick structure and a rendered ground floor. It has a pantile roof and a gable made of random brick and flint. The building stands three storeys tall and has four windows on the first and second floors. There are two 20th-century shop fronts and doors, all of which include glazing bars. The first-floor sash windows also have glazing bars and flat rubbed brick arches, while the third floor features pivoted windows with glazing bars.
