Description
66 and 66A High Street is a building located in Edenbridge, dating from the early 18th century. It is two storeys tall with an attic and features two windows. The building has a fairly high-pitched tiled roof that is half hipped on the left side. There is a small canted dormer with a lead roof. The exterior is painted brick. On the first floor, there are two canted bays with dentil cornices and late 19th-century sash windows. The ground floor has a late 19th-century double shop front with a glazed door in between.
66A has a timber-framed rear extension, with a weatherboarded first floor and a brick ground floor. There is a first-floor sash window with glazing bars set in a moulded flush frame, while the ground floor window is blocked. The entrance features a six-panel door. Together with Nos 58 to 66A and the outbuildings to No 64, this building forms a group of historical significance.
