Description
A group of three houses located on Camberwell Road, dating from the early 19th century. Numbers 88 and 92 are built of stock brick, while number 90 is rendered in stucco. The houses are arranged symmetrically, with the outer houses being three storeys and basement, while the central house is four storeys and basement, topped by a moulded cornice. Each house has three bays, with an additional recessed linking bay of three storeys between them. A later, narrow, single-storey and basement extension has been added to the right side of number 88. Steps lead to the front doors, which are set within round-headed recesses featuring radial fanlights, stucco imposts, and three-quarter Tuscan columns supporting cornice heads. The ground-floor windows are round-headed, recessed, and have an impost band. All windows are sash windows with glazing bars; the upper-floor windows have square heads with gauged-brick arches to numbers 88 and 92. A first-floor sill band is also present. The interior of the houses has not been inspected. Numbers 88-92 form a group with numbers 86 and 86A. Numbers 90 and 92 were separately listed on January 31, 1974.
