Description
29A and 29B on Urlwin Street is a house that has been subdivided, dating from the mid-19th century. The exterior is finished in stucco that has been scored to imitate ashlar stone. It features a hipped slate roof with boxed eaves and stands two storeys high over a half basement. The building has a three-window range, with all windows being flat-arched and featuring 6x6 sash bars that are of the original design. The basement windows have 4x4 sashes, but only the right window retains an authentic design. The arrangement of the openings is slightly off-centre in relation to the rest of the façade. There is a round-arched entrance with a plain fanlight, accessed by a short flight of steps, and a four-panel door that is of an authentic design. A stack is located on the left return. The interior has not been inspected. This building is part of a strong group that includes Nos 24-30, all of which share a similar architectural style.
