Description
62 and 64 Camberwell Road is a pair of houses, with part of the building currently used as a car showroom. They were built in the early 19th century and are constructed of amber brick, featuring a stucco cornice and blocking course. Each house has three storeys and a basement, with two bays and one-storey outer entrance bays. A single-storey extension at the front, which serves as the showroom, obscures the ground floor of No. 64 and part of No. 62. The door to No. 62 is flanked by attached three-quarter Tuscan columns that support a cornice head. The remaining ground-floor window is round-headed and set in a round-arched recess with a stucco band at the spring. The first- and second-floor sash windows, which have glazing bars, are topped with flat, gauged-brick arches. The interior has not been inspected.
